BUKIT MERTAJAM: Barisan Nasional's candidate for the Permatang Pauh by-election Suhaimi Sabudin, 44, arrived at the nomination centre here to submit his papers.
He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Also present were MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong, MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel and other component party leaders.
Clad in a red Baju Melayu, Suhaimi was seen comfortable mingling with the crowd.
