Self employed man claims trial to possessing, using fake fuel card

BUTTERWORTH: A self employed man, 28, today claimed trial to 15 counts of possessing and using a fake fuel card for various transactions.

Hor Yee Kwong was accused of possessing the card and using it at two different premises on April 22 and May 16, this year.

He denied committing the offences by performing a RM150 transaction in Jalan Raja Uda, here, and 13 transactions totalling RM2,752.60 in Jalan Sungai Dua in Sungai Lokan here.

Hor was charged for possessing a forged valuable card. If convicted, he faces imprisonment of up to seven years.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Maziah Mansor prosecuted and asked for bail to be set at RM1,000 with one surety for each offence.

Magistrate Siti Sarah Abdul Rahim set bail at RM7,000 with one surety for all offences and fixed hearing for July 30.
