KUALA LUMPUR: MBM Resources Bhd’s pre-tax profit more than doubled to RM65.18 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2015, from RM27.97 million in the same quarter last year.
The surge of 133.1 per cent in pre-tax profit was mainly attributable to recognition of revenue from property development and better results from ITS motor trading division and associates.
Manufacturing losses were also narrowed, the automotive company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
Revenue rose to 591.74 million from RM447.36 million previously.
