KUALA LUMPUR: Police have identified who is 'Yassin', reportedly to be the main agent behind the human trafficking camps in Wang Kelian, Perlis and will investigate.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said police know who 'Yassin' is and will take action if the claims are true.
"We know who he is, let us investigate and take action," he told reporters during a press conference at police headquarters in Bukit Aman.
He also said they will not compromise if there are any enforcement officers are involved in the case.
"If there is any (involvement by enforcement officers), we will take action according to the law," he said.
