KUALA LUMPUR: Police are tracking a group of robbers believed to be armed in a recreational area near Taman Lembah Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
Checks revealed the group of robbers were believed to have planned to rob houses around the area before their attempt was foiled by the police.
Brickfields police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Azlee Abdullah said upon seeing police's presence in the pre-dawn incident, the group fled into the recreational area.
"We are currently tracking them down, please give us some time as the place is huge are to be combed through," said Azlee
