M'sian police to exhume 91 more bodies from burial plots close to Thailand

KANGAR: Some 200 policemen began their journey to death camps close to the Perlis-Thailand border to exhume bodies from 91 burial plots there today.

Perlis police chief SAC Shafie Ismail said 180 men from the General Operations Force (GOF), forensics police officers and criminal investigation team had headed to Thailand at 8.30am.

"They have entered via Wang Kelian and Padang Besar today. They are expected to return by Monday," he said when contacted.

Malaysia has been given a five-day period beginning yesterday to enter the hills via Thailand.
