KOTA KINABALU: Sabah based Barisan Nasional component Liberal Democratic Party expressed confidence in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak for taking the right course of action for the sake of the country.
"The truth will prevail," said its president Datuk Teo Chee Kang in reference to allegations by Wall Street Journal that claimed RM2.65 billion of state-linked funds had been deposited in the premier's personal accounts.
"It is a grave allegation against the Prime Minister that would impugn the integrity of the Government," Teo stressed.
"Upon consultation with his lawyers, I am confident that the Prime Minister will take the right course of action. The truth will prevail."
