3 pregnant women, baby rescued from trafficking syndicate

KUALA LUMPUR: Police foiled a child trafficking syndicate in Rawang here today with the arrest of three suspects.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar revealed this via his Twitter account @KBAB51 and congratulated the Bukit Aman Special Task Force on Organised Crime (STAFFOC) team.

He also said the team had saved three pregnant women and a baby from becoming trafficking victims.

"Syabas STAFFOC @PDRMsia b'jaya selamatkan 3 wanita mengandung, 1 bayi dan tumpas kump pemerdagangan bayi di Rawang. T'kap 3 org. Go PDRM Go," he wrote.
