BUTTERWORTH: Five people cheated death when their Nissan Almera vehicle skidded and crashed into the road divider of the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway, near Kubang Semang here early today.
In the 12.11am incident, all five in their 20s suffered serious injuries, while two were trapped and pinned in the mangled car.
Bandar Perda Fire and Rescue team spokesperson said upon reaching, they found that two of the victims were trapped in the car and seriously injured while three others had been rushed to the hospital by passers-by.
It is learnt that the victims were heading to Kulim from Butterworth when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the road divider, before it landed on its side.
