BUTTERWORTH: Some 100-odd Bersih 4 supporters are on a 'roadshow' on mainland Penang today.
Dress in yellow T-shirts and carrying placards, the group gathered at the foyer of Sunway Carnival along Jalan Jelawat in Seberang Jaya at about 2.30pm.
As of 4pm, the group had moved to the Juru Auto City car park. The organisers of the event were not known.
When contacted, Central Seberang Prai district police chief Assistant Commissioner Rusli Md Noor said police were monitoring their movements.
"They have been out since morning. From Kampung Baru,to the Seri Rambai Market, then to the Seberang Prai Municipal Council mini stadium.
"We are aware that they are at Sunway Carnival now," he told the NST.
Rusli added that it would only take action if there were signs of aggression.
