PM checks out Seri Labuan public housing residents living condition

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today went to the ground to check out for himself the problems faced by residents of the Seri Labuan Public Housing in Bandar Tun Razak, here.

According to the prime minister, the visit to the public housing scheme was prompted by reports received by the government on several issues in the area.

“After checking out the surrounding area and the problems faced, I want several things to be implemented,” he said in the latest posting on his blog, NajibRazak.com.

He had also directed for the public facilities at Madrasah Al-Aula such as the air-conditioning units, ceiling fans as well as pipes and drains be replaced or repaired immediately.

New air-conditioners would also be installed at Madrasah Al-Aula for the comfort of the congregation, he said.

“The flooring of the futsal court as well as netting around the court and goalposts will be repaired or replaced, Sekolah Rendah Agama Al-Farabi will be repainted while the students’ tables and chairs at the school will be replaced, apart from installing new air-conditioners.

“Insya-Allah (God willing), all these will enable the residents and children at Seri Labuan Public Housing in Bandar Tun Razak to live in a more conducive environment,” he added in his blog posting. – BERNAMA
