GEORGE TOWN: The Federal Government will help a Hindu temple in Glugor to build a RM3.5 million community education complex.
Health Minister Datuk Seri S. Subramaniam assured that the government would contribute generously to the Sri Veerama Kaliamman Devasthanam temple to realise the project.
“We will contribute a good amount...we will not state how much, let it be a surprise,” he said after attending a special prayer session organised by the Bukit Gelugor Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) division here on Thursday evening.
Subramaniam lauded the temple committee for coming up with the complex which would welcome all Malaysians to use.
