PETALING JAYA: Despite the hazy conditions, Sabah successfully defended their Agong's Cup rugby title at the Petaling Jaya Stadium today.
The East Malaysian giants established a 10-6 lead by half time before pulling away in the second period to notch a comfortable 28-16 win.
It is the fourth time Sabah have won the competition after having also emerged victorious in 2007, 2009 and last year.
Sabah had defeated Terengganu while Perak beat Johor in the Semi-finals earlier this week.
