Police found body of a girl, believed to be one of the missing seven

GUA MUSANG: Police have recovered the body of a girl, believed to be one of the seven missing Orang Asli schoolchildren from Pos Tohoi, in the jungles near the village.

State police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim said the decomposed body of the girl, believed to be aged between 7 and 9, was found by a villager on a tree branch about 7pm.

He said the body was found in the Sungai Perias area, about 500m from SK Tohoi.

“The body was sent to Gua Musang Hospital. Police will call the families of the missing seven children tomorrow to identify the body,” said Mazlan.
