2 cases of missing schoolgirls, one found so far

KUALA LUMPUR: One of the two schoolgirls who were reported missing in separate cases, has been found.

According to Majoriti, the girl, Raudhah, 7, who was reported missing on Friday, was found safely by school authorities.

The Sekolah Kebangsaan Brickfields 2 student was missing for five hours. She had mistakenly followed another group of students for Fardu Ain (Kafa) classes at another location.

In a separate case, Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar, 12, who went missing on Tuesday, has yet to be found.

Police have recorded statements from five people to assist in their probe into Dhia's disappearance.

Dang Wangi district police chief, ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya, said that those called in to give their statements included Dhia's family members and friends.

Yesterday, it was reported that Dhia went missing shortly after being reprimanded for skipping school.

The girl's mother, Syarifah Rosfazlia Syed Muhammad Fazili, said some of Dhia's friends told her that she was with an unknown man she met on social media.
