KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s “king of standup comedy” is a proud daddy for the third time in his life.
Harith Iskander, 49, has just welcomed his third child, Zydane Xayne Iskander, and shared an intimate photo of himself with the newborn on his Facebook and Instagram pages earlier today.
Harith captioned the photo with a heartwarming yet humorous message that read: “Say hello to my clan’s newest member Zydane Xayne Iskander. Both mummy Jezamine Lim and baby Zydane are healthy and doing great.
“Daddy Harith is thrilled too and is doing his best not to drop baby!”
Harith who has been a comedian for 24 years, has appeared in sitcom Jangan Ketawa, Cuci The Musical and the annual international stand-up comedy showcase The Kings And Queens Of Comedy Asia among others.
He has just returned home from a Kings And Queens Of Comedy showcase in The Esplanade, Singapore, held last weekened.
Born in Johor Baru to a Malaysian father and a British mother, he grew up in Kuala Lumpur. A graduate of film and TV productions from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, Harith started out producing TV commercials for advertising agency Leo Burnett before becoming a full-time actor and comedian.
Harith married doctor and model Jezamine Lim, 31, five years ago. They have two other children, Zander Xayne Iskander, 3 and Alessandra Jayne Iskander, 1.
