#Showbiz: Harith Iskander, wife extend assistance to flood victims via The Hope Branch

KUALA LUMPUR: Comedian Harith Iskander and his wife Dr Jezamine Lim continue to extend aid to victims affected by the recent floods in Kelantan through The Hope Branch, a non-governmental organisation that both of them founded.

In a recent statement Harith, 57, said: "Our top priority is to ease the burdens of those affected by the floods.

"We aim to help as many individuals as possible, and we are grateful for the partnerships and contribution that we have received.

"Based on past flood experiences, other than Kg Seberang Merbau (Pasir Mas) and Kg Bukit Budu (Kuala Krai), The Hope Branch is also dedicated to maintaining a continuous presence in Kelantan for long-term community support."

In response to the urgent needs of the communities affected by the recent floods on the east coast, The Hope Branch has allocated a substantial amount (RM120,000 in value) for relief efforts.

The relief packages, containing items such as rice, fresh poultry, vegetables, toothpaste, toothbrushes, wet wipes, gloves, face masks, mattresses, pillows and tudung (headscarves), aim to alleviate the immediate hardships faced by the flood victims.

The organisation invites everyone to visit its social media pages (@thehopebranch.my) to learn more about how they can contribute and make a positive impact today.
