Lenovo ends 2015 with a bang, rolls out 18 new devices

KUALA LUMPUR: Lenovo Malaysia has launched a total of 18 new devices catered to tech enthusiasts, businesses, gamers, and on-the-go multi-taskers.

The devices include the YOGA Tablet and Laptop series, the Y-series Gaming laptops, All-in-One desktops, and the Lenovo Pocket Projector.

Its country general manager Khoo Hung Chuan said the new range of products will enable users to enjoy digital entertainment that encompasses computing, gaming, music and movie streaming.

The series available starting this November are the thinnest 8-inch Intel Core i-convertible YOGA Tab3 laptop with prices starting from RM949; ideapad Y700 for mobile gamers with performance and portability in mind (RM4,699), ideapad 100S, a thinner and lighter laptop (RM799); ideapad 500(Z51), a new 15-inch laptop (RM3,499); and Lenovo PHAB which offers a bigger HD screen at 6.98-inches (RM799), among others.

Coming soon between December and January 2016, with prices yet to be announced, are the YOGA Tab3 Pro, the MIIX700 2 in1 tablet; Lenovo Pocket Projector; and the Lenovo Y Series accessories, among others.

The Lenovo Y Gaming (LYG) accessories are the LYG Surround Headset, LYG Precision Mouse, LYG Mechanical Switch Keyboard, LYG Backpack and LYG Mouse Mat.

Khoo said the Y-Series ideapad Y700 and ideacentre Y900 will already have the accessories included in the prices.

"This is to facilitate every part of the value chain to deliver the products, content, services and industry partnerships to help consumers connect at every stage of their lifestyle," he said at the launch.

He said Lenovo will continue to elevate user experience and address all of their mobility needs through the use of technology.

"With the launch of these new products, we aim to appeal to the users of all interests including the tech enthusiast, business mavens, gamers and every day on -the-go multi-taskers.

"Lenovo has seen a consistent demand not just for laptops and smartphones but also for tablets, multi-modes and PCs.”
