KUALA LUMPUR: The affordable homes offered under the 1Malaysia People's Housing Programme (PR1MA) has seen very positive and encouraging response from Malaysians.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he was informed that the requests for PR1MA homes has been very responsive and overwhelming.
In his personal Facebook page, Najib said: "I was told that the demand for this residential housing has been so encouraging that it exceeded 25 times from the total of houses offered."
The prime minister also added he was going to attend the balloting process of PR1MA homes later this evening at the PR1MA Expo at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).
Najib further said the government would continue to intensify housing initiatives to enable families or individuals in the middle income group to afford their dream homes.
