SEREMBAN: The parents of a six-year-old girl were forced to seek help from the Fire and Rescue Department after their daughter’s hair accidentally became entangled in a foot massager.
The victim was using the machine at their house in Jalan Iman Hj Rohassan Kampung Gadong, here, when the 11.34am incident occurred.
It was understood that the girl had bent down to pick up her belongings on the floor when her hair became entangled.
Seremban 2 fire station operation chief Md Munawir Md Yusoff said they received an emergency call at 11.49am and arrived 16 minutes later with a six-man team.
“The victim’s mother attempted to free her daughter’s hair before calling for help. However, after a 15 minute effort, they were still unable to free her hair, hence they sought assistance from the fire station.
“We did not cut the victim’s hair as we manage to untangle it from the machine. The victim escaped the incident unharmed,” he said when contacted.
