DUNGUN: A 3-month-old baby boy was killed when the car driven by his father went out of control and crashed into another vehicle at Km90 of the Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan trunk road yesterday.
District police chief Superintendent Ahmad Zailani Yaacub said Mohamad Amir Farhan Mohd Azhar died at Dungun Hospital of severe head and chest injuries, about four hours after the accident at 7.20am.
The deceased’s father, Mohd Azhar Abdullah and front-seat passenger Fatin Noras Nanira Abdullah, 19, who was cradling the boy, escaped unhurt.
The 40-year-old driver of the other vehicle broke his right leg.
