KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Management and Science University (MSU) at a special convocation ceremony held in Istana Negara today.

Presented by MSU Chancellor the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah, the event was held in conjunction with MSU's 18th Convocation Ceremony which will take place from Jan 23 to 26.

Also present were the university’s pro-chancellor Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin and president, Prof Datuk Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.

MSU president Prof Datuk Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid said the conferment of the honorary doctorate was in recognition of Tuanku Abdul Halim's concern for the field of education and his military leadership as the supreme commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
