GEORGETOWN: It will be an all Malaysian men’s singles final at the Malaysia Masters GP Gold following the success of Lee Chong Wei and Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin in the semi-finals today.
National No 1 Chong Wei had no trouble at all as he eased past Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto with a 21-19, 21-15 win at the SPICE Arena.
Iskandar, however, was the bigger surprise package as he upset second seed K. Srikanth of India 27-25, 21-9 to reach his first ever GP Gold final.
