Man survives after being shot twice in Temerloh

TEMERLOH: A man was seriously wounded after being shot with an air rifle in front of a financial institution here last night.

It is learnt that the 30-year-old victim was standing alone in front of the premises about 11.30pm when the suspects fired two shots which hit his stomach and shoulder.

The victim was rushed to the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah hospital here for treatment.

Police are tracking down the suspects through CCTV footage obtained from the nearby business premises.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Anuar Othman is expected to hold a press conference on the case this afternoon.
