KULIM: A construction workers' quarters at Jalan Padang Meha caught fire today.
In the 1pm incident, the plywood-zinc structure which was home to Myanmar construction workers, was nearly razed to the ground.
Penang Fire and Rescue Department officials said the blaze was put out an hour and a half later.
No one was hurt in the incident.
A forensic team is investigating the site to determine the cause of the incident.
