ROMPIN: Four people including three members of a family were killed when two cars collided at KM138.8 of the Kuantan-Segamat road here early today.
In the 12.45am incident, the dead were identified as Foo Kam Long, 45; his wife Salamiah Ating, 33; and their child Foo Wei Quan, 10.
Also killed in the incident was Muhamad Sharil Sabri, 23.
District police chief Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Aidil Roneh Abdullah said the couple were killed on the spot while their son died upon arrival at the district hospital.
"The family were travelling from Kuantan to their house at the Orang Asli settlement in Jalan Sabak," he said.
Aidil Roneh said the injured victims were the couple's other child Foo Weng Ee, 8; and Mohamad Zareqh Emeer Mohd Zainudin, 23.
