Helicopter may be used to help fight fire at Batu Caves [VIDEO]

GOMBAK: A large chunk of the forest at the Batu Caves limestone hill today was razed this morning, reported Berita Harian.

Selayang Fire and Rescue Department chief, Azrul Khairi Abu Bakar said a distress call was received at 10.42am.

"The first fire engine arrived at 10.50 am and the cause of fire is still being investigated.

"Fire mitigation works are still being conducted by the department to avoid further damages.

He also noted that a helicopter might be used to monitor the situation.
