KUALA LUMPUR: British singer-songwriter Calum Scott found himself enchanted by the stunning Batu Caves, despite breaking a sweat from climbing thousands of stairs.
In a recent 25-second TikTok video shared by Scott, he showcased his journey while ascending Batu Caves, which was filled with surprises.
"Hello TikTok, we are in Kuala Lumpur, at Batu Caves. Finally got the steps in today," the caption reads.
Starting from the base of the temple, Scott documented his gradual ascent to the top, capturing the breathtaking views and encountering monkeys along the way.
"We made it!" exclaimed Scott as he seemingly reached the summit of the stairs.
However, upon reaching the top, Scott discovered that there were more stairs inside the cave temples.
What caught the most attention of Malaysians was the response from Scott to a TikTok user's comment, inquiring about how tired he must have been after the climb.
"It was completely worth it to see the beauty of Batu Caves," replied Scott.
The Britain's Got Talent alumni, who had his maiden concert in Malaysia back in 2019 was in Malaysia, performed as the opening act for Ed Sheeran's concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium recently.
A video of his visit, now with over 100k views, captured Malaysians' attention as he explored tourist attractions like Batu Caves.
