SHAH ALAM: Several areas in Selangor experienced tremors due to an earthquake of magnitude 7.9 that hit Southwest of Sumatera, Indonesia around 9.49pm, today.
Among the affected areas are, Kajang, Subang, Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya.
According to the Selangor Fire Department, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
However as a precautionary measure the department is monitoring the areas affected by the tremors.
