GEORGE TOWN: A 48-year-old man was savagely slashed by two men outside the Batu Lanchang market here today.
In the 8pm incident, the two assailants exited an unidentified car and attacked the man.
He was found in a pool of blood with slash wounds on his legs and arms.
A passerby rushed the seriously hurt man to the Penang Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the case.
