Eco World Development eyes RM4b sales in 2016

KUALA LUMPUR: Eco World Development Group Bhd is confident of hitting its sales target of RM4 billion this year, on the back positive reception to its 11 ongoing projects.

The 11 projects are inclusive of Eco Botanic in Iskandar Malaysia, Eco Majestic in Seminyah as well as Eco Sky in Jalan Ipoh.

The group had as of 29 February this year achieved RM607.8 million in sales."We currently have a gross development value of RM81 billion, encompassing 7,443.9 acres of land spread across Klang Valley, Johor and Penang," said president and chief executive office, Datuk Chang Khim Wah at a press briefing here at Invest Malaysia 2016.

"This will keep us busy of up to 12 years from this year itself," he said.

He noted that the group has no plans to branch out to Sabah and Sarawak within the short term and prefers to maintain its focus within Peninsular Malaysia.
