SELAYANG: A lorry driver was charged in the magistrate's court with the murder of his wife and eight-month old baby daughter.
Satvender Singh, 30, was accused of murdering his wife Kamarjit Dorairaja and his daughter Ishlyn Kaur Sandhu at 31, Jalan RP 10/9, Taman Rawang Perdana 2 in Rawang, Selangor.
He was alleged to have committed both the offences at 3.55am and 4.15am, respectively, on April 14.
Satvender Singh was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and carries the death sentence upon conviction.
However, no plea was recorded.
Magistrate Iriane Isabelo fixed May 30 for mention.
