World's first liquid-cooled gaming laptop now in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the GX700, the world’s first liquid-cooled gaming laptop with detachable ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking.

During the media event, ASUS Malaysia also launched the new GT51CA Gaming Desktop and other gaming series, celebrated ROG’s 10 th anniversary, and officially announced on ROG Champions Cup – upcoming largest League of Legends tournament with Garena, an interactive software platform for gamers.

The GX700 is powered by the 6th-generation Intel mobile K-SKU Skylake processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card to give gamers a desktop-grade power at home and ultra-fast performance on the go.

The GX700 gaming laptop also features integrated NVIDIA G-SYNC display technology for the smoothest, fastest and stunning gaming visuals possible.

With the liquid-cooling dock attached, overclocking the ROG GX700 to gaming desktop-like levels of performance is an easy feat. On its own, it packs quite a punch, and easily outperforms other gaming laptops on the market.

The detachable ROG Hydro Overclocking System gives it superior overclocking performance for unrivaled gaming power. It uses a pump to circulate coolant around heat-generating components inside GX700. The liquid coolant then heads back into the cooling module where two radiators help to dissipate heat.

The gaming laptop is priced at RM18,999 (inclusive of GST).
