GEORGE TOWN: Universiti Sains Malaysia's (USM) 53rd convocation ceremony kicked off with a total 1,160 graduates receiving their respective scrolls, today.
The ceremony started at 10am with the conferment of an honorary degree (Doctor of Management) to AmBank Group chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim.
A total of 259 doctorate holders received their scrolls at the ceremony this morning while 492 Master’s degree and 408 bachelor's degree holders are scheduled to receive their scrolls later today.
