Guang Eng leaves Penang MACC office after seven hours

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has left the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office after seven hours.

It is believed that he was at the MACC office to give a statement in connection with his Jalan Pinhorn bungalow purchase last year.

Lim did not stop to talk to pressmen who had waited for him since 8.30am.

His legal adviser Gobind Singh Deo said Lim was required to be at the MACC office at 10am tomorrow to complete investigations.

"Investigations against Lim has yet to be completed and he will be here again tomorrow morning.

"As for his wife, Betty Chew, the MACC has completed its investigations on her," he told reporters.
