KUALA LUMPUR: Two people, including a woman, were killed while another was left severely injured after being attacked in front of a pub in Solaris Dutamas last night.
The victims were sitting outside the pub around 11pm when several people in two cars pulled up and slashed them with parang.
The deceased were identified as M. Mogan, 21; and R. Mythurai, 23.
The identity of the injured victim has yet to be known.
Police sources said the attackers wore masks.
“We are investigating the motive behind the attack,” he said.
Following the incident, police arrested six men, said to be linked to the case.
“The six have been remanded for a week to assist the investigation,” he said.
The victims were taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
