Firemen deployed to catch six-metre python at Malacca school

MALACCA: Firemen were called in to help catch a six-metre python found inside the school compound of SJK(C) Bukit Beruang here, this morning.

The snake was spotted behind the school compound, with a large bulge in its stomach. It is believed to have swallowed an animal.

Ayer Keroh Fire and Rescue operation officer Dzulkarnain Abd Halim said six firemen were deployed to the scene upon receiving a call at 8.19am.

The snake was released to a nearby bush away from the public.
