Tech and celebrate

PARENTS who were not tech-savvy were learnt about the marvels of information communication technology or ICT at Maxis’ Raya open house held in Suria KLCC.

The three-day event was to complement Maxis’ short, heartwarming film Sarikatahati, released in conjunction with the festive season.

To bring that video’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri message to life, Maxis hosted a different kind of festive open house, themed Khatam IT, aimed at celebrating happy moments through technology and connections.

Customers and their parents were invited to the KLCC service and other outlets to learn about the conveniences of modern technology and know-how such as setting up a smartphone, creating a Facebook account and installing applications.

Present to assist customers were Fernie Jasmine Abd Ghani, head of Brand at Maxis and Susan Lee, head of Activation, Partnership & Regions, Marketing Services, as well as Keith Pereira of the Corporate Affairs Division.
