Petronas launches 'To Malaysia with Love' campaign for Merdeka, Malaysia Day

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas has launched its 35-day National and Malaysia Day campaign titled 'To Malaysia with Love' today.

Its Group Strategic Communications senior general manager Zahariah Abd Rahman said the nationwide campaign would comprise of a television commercial as well as six short videos that promotes unity and social cohesion.

"In line with this year's key message 'Every Malaysian is an Inspiration', our campaign emphasizes on how Malaysians have always been there for one another, simply because we care for each other.

"The campaign 'To Malaysia with Love' is narrated in two parts; one in how Petronas has contributed towards nation building since its inception 42-years ago, and another, through a short story depicting how every one of us plays an inspiring part in our daily lives," she said at the preview of its television commercial titled 'Take Care' earlier today.

She said the two-minute commercial promoted the essential values contributing towards a harmonious society.

"'Take Care' is a reflection of how our lives are intertwined and connected regardless of our diverse background and how we look out for one another, during the ups and downs in our lives," she said.

The videos have been shown on major channels since Aug 15 while the television commercial will air today until Sept 18.
