PETALING JAYA: Several people were injured in a crash involving a bus and at least five cars in Damansara Damai, here tonight.
The incident at a traffic light junction in front of Park Avenue Condominium is believed to have happened about 8.30pm.
An officer from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said they received a call on the incident at 8.46pm, and dispatched two teams of firemen from the Sungai Buloh and Damansara stations to the scene.
The officer said initial information received stated that several victims sustained light injuries in the crash.
As of 11pm, further details on the accident has yet to be released by the Selangor police Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department as investigators were still gathering information from those involved.
The NST went to the scene and saw that the crash sparked a kilometre-long traffic crawl, as tow truck workers were working to remove the badly-damaged cars.
