SHAH ALAM: Water supply to several areas in Shah Alam and Klang which was disrupted yesterday, was restored this morning.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) Corporate Communication head Amin Lin Abdullah said the water supply was restored in stages after repair work at Section 15 was completed.
Amin said Syabas will still continue to provide water supply to affected areas via their water tankers until the situation has fully recovered.
Syabas yesterday said that a steel pipeline located at a river behind the Calsberg factory, had burst and caused temporary water disruption.
Among the affected areas included Section 21, Section 22, Section 25, Section 26, Section 27, Section 28, Section 32, Section 33, Kampung Kebun Bunga, Kampung Baru Hicom, Subang Mas Batu 3, Batu 3 Shah Alam, Bukit Kemuning, Bukit Naga, Kampung Lombong, Jalan Kebun, UEP and USJ Subang, Putra Heights, Kampung Bukit Lanchong, Kampung Jawa, Bandar Putera, Bandar Putera Heights, Taman Axis, Taman Subang Mas, Taman Seri Lembahyung, Taman Kemuning Utama, Taman Sentosa, Taman Maznah and Taman Samarinda.
In Petaling Jaya, Taman Pinggiran UEP and Pinggiran USJ 3 were among the affected areas.
