KUALA LUMPUR: A police Federal Reserve Unit officer made a shocking discovery today when he stumbled upon two smoke bombs near the Air Panas People's Housing Project here.
While carrying out his routine patrol at 3.30pm, the man noticed an object wrapped in a white plastic bag which he deemed suspicious.
Upon inspection, he discovered the two smoke bombs and immediately alerted his superior and the Setapak police patrol unit.
At press time, police are still inspecting the objects, which they have confirmed to be smoke bombs, and are scouring the scene.
