IPOH: People who work for homes will benefit from the higher speed service from fixed broadband service providers in the 2017 Budget.
Housewife Nor Ziham Mat Lateh who operates her business from home said the initiative would allow her to promote and sell her products more extensively.
''It is about time for us to get what we paid for. I hope that this package will be enjoyed by all regardless of their location," she said.
In announcing the initiative, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said fixed line broadband service providers will be offering higher speed services for the same price customers are paying for now.
