GEORGE TOWN: Budget 2017 is a pragmatic “people’s budget”, where the government has demonstrated it is adept in balancing and maintaining fiscal prudence, managing growth as well as the people’s well-being.
Northern Corridor Implementation Authority chief executive Datuk Redza Rafiq today said the newly-tabled national budget also illustrates the Government’s continuous commitment in ensuring that the economic fundamentals of the nation remain resilient and strong.
“The measures indicate prudence and creativity in optimising expenditure, to ensure delivery for the people.
“The Malaysian government has always shown that it is agile and expansive to take on global economic uncertainties, keeping the economy firmly on a growth path despite the global strong headwinds,” he added.
