KERTEH: A contract worker tasked with cleaning petroleum tanks died after he is believed to have inhaled toxic fumes while on the job this evening.
Mohd Marwan Mustafa Afandi, 35, and his two colleagues were carrying out their duties at the petroleum industrial area here at 6pm, today when the incident occurred.
He is believed to have died at the scene. The two others were rushed to the Kemaman Hospital.
District police chief Superintendent Mohd Said Ibrahim confirmed the incident and said police are probing the case.
