In a bid to bring their products closer to consumers, Lazada has partnered up with Samsung to unveil the first portal-in-portal site which turns offline Samsung stores online, beginning with the year-end ‘Unbox the Wonders of Home’ campaign.
The campaign affords you the ability to shop for the full range of Samsung products on Lazada’s online shopping platform.
According to the CEO of Lazada Malaysia, Hans-Peter Ressel, 81 per cent of Lazada’s customers reside outside of Kuala Lumpur, and having an online selling platform will not only be more convenient for consumers, but will also enable Samsung to have an improved reach to nationwide.
The Head of Samsung Malaysia’s Consumer Electronic Business Unit, Jimmy Tan, said: “Today, many consumers are tech savvy and enjoy online shopping in their own space. As we have seen a 45 per cent increase in mobile usage for online purchases outside cities, we concluded that Lazada is the ideal platform to showcase Samsung home appliances. With just a click, we want Malaysians to unbox and experience the wonders of their home.”
To kick off their partnership with a bang, customers are entitled to a cashback offer of up to 30 per cent for every purchase made.
Additionally, there will be gifts with every purchase, a 2-year warranty period by Samsung, and free delivery.
The ‘Unbox the Wonders of Home’ campaign also features promotions, such as a bundle package for home theatre products with Samsung’s SUHD TVs.
