KUALA LUMPUR: Robbers carted away with eight trays of valuables in a daring jewellery store heist at a hypermarket in Puchong today.
Four of the robbers, wearing full-faced helmets and armed with three hammers, stormed into the premises located at the ground floor at 11.07am.
They took less than five minutes to empty the trays and escaped with two other accomplices in a getaway car waiting near the hypermarket’s entrance.
A police spokesman confirmed the incident and said police were still assessing the losses incurred by the store.
