IPOH: A Form One student of a religious school here suffered broken ribs after he was set upon by his seniors on Nov 16.
Muhammad Aiman Fahmi Norizzal, 13, said in the 1.30am incident, several seniors had kicked, slapped and dragged him on the floor.
He suspect the attack was due to his refusal to share a drink with one of them earlier that day.
"They beat me up one after another, and let me go half an hour later. They also warned me not to report the matter to anyone," he said when met at his house in Taman Sri Kinta.
The victim's father, Norrizal Ramli, 36, said after receiving a phone call from the school's security guard about his son's condition, he immediately sent him to the clinic.
"After an X-ray, the doctor said his left ribs have been broken," he said, adding that a report was lodge at Jelapang police station on Nov 18. -- Bernama
