SLIM RIVER: A man was killed, while two others injured when the car they were travelling in crashed and turned turtle near Jalan Gunung Besout - Kuala Slim, this morning.
In the 10am incident, the victim was pronounced dead on the spot and the two injured victims have been rushed to the hospital by ambulance and passers-by.
Slim River Fire and Rescue Department chief Jaspian Jamaludin said the team received an alert at 10.13am and upon arrival spotted the vehicle in a swampy area by the roadside.
"We found that all the three victims have been carried out of the crashed vehicle by passers-by.
"The injured victims received immediate medical attention by the roadside," he said.
Jaspian the operation, led by Fire and Rescue Senior Officer Operasi II Yuslli Abd Latif, ended at 11.20am.
