KUALA LUMPUR: A crane collapsed at a construction site in Damansara Perdana today.
The accident took place in front of the National Inland Revenue Board office at Empire Damansara.
However, no one was injured in the incident.
The incident was confirmed by the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, who were alerted to the incident at 2pm.
Five firefighters were deployed to the scene.
An image of the overturned crane had spread rapidly on social media. Initial reports had claimed that one person had died in the incident.
The image showed a crane hanging precariously on the fourth floor of the building.
